Description
Each processor module incorporates ESB-bus interface functions being available for dualredundancy. Normally, ESB-bus interface function on active CPU is active and another is
standby. If an abnormal factor is found in ESB function on active CPU, the standby CPU is
switched into active. The active ESB-bus interface communicates with node units as master ESB
bus. The dual-redundant ESB buses are used alternately; if an abnormal factor is found in one
bus, the other bus will be used for communication. The recovery of bus is periodically tested to
ensure the recovery. Nodes Unit
In nodes, Node interface module and Node power module can be dual redundant. I/O module
bus from Node interface module to each I/O module can also be dual-redundant.
